OK - I know the Final Gift was the end - and it is. I will share some personal life here. Some of the characters are based on real people from my past. I genuinely don't know if many are alive or not. But I wrote them just the same, name changes, different personalities, etc. One of the common things an author will do, often with a favorite book or story, is go meta-fiction with it and meet the characters.
Well, I'll be honest, after I wrote The Gift, and was working on the The Second Gift, I had some emotional issues. I controlled them until I finished the Final Gift. and then talked to a therapist She suggested among other things that have helped greatly, that I may consider writing a book where I meet the characters. I wrote this between book 1 and 2, at the point where I had my issues. I meet Wendy, Jackie, Little Leo, Father Perez. Darin is passed, and The real life Mike Gambell meets these characters in real life, and after they read his books, they are not fans.

I wrote this for therapy and it's done.
I've created it as a book for my personal bookshelf only.
I'm considering maybe making it available for a short time if I get enough feedback.

This is less the Evans / Davis story but more Mike's story in their universe.
It's not light-hearted, it's not distilled, it's literally what I wrote for therapy, and I'm still not sure I want it out there or not.
