I finished The Transparent Gift this weekend. Book 4 in the Gift series. (Yes this is a multiple play on words ;-) )

I have to be honest, I didn't think there was going to be a book 2, and then next thing I know I'm in book 4. In terms of thinking about the merger, I felt a very strong bond with the trans community. While I'm not trans or questioning myself, I did do a dive into gender identity issues and really felt this story could help some of those in crisis, or at least be relatable. I really tried to make a conscious effort to be both honest and supportive. I even referenced actual services for those in crisis(The Trevor Project) and linked to them in here. IF you or anyone you know is in crisis, please get help. As Darin and Wendy discovered - you are not alone.

The story again is about love, and I really felt that this shined through here.
